Aunt Sister’s Shrimp Mousse

Shrimp Mousse Ingredients:

  • 2 cups minced shrimp (boiled in salt water with 2 tablespoons of liquid seafood boil)
  • 1 block cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • ½ cup minced celery
  • ½ cup minced green onion
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package knox unflavored gelatin
  • ½ teaspoon Zataran’s liquid seafood boil
  • 1 teaspoon Tony C’s
  • Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

Directions:

In heavy large saucepan over medium heat, whisk together cream cheese and soup until smooth and creamy. Add ll other ingredients EXCEPT the knox and blend well. Dissolve the knox in ¼ cup warm water and whisk into the mixture. Pout into a greased mold and chill over night. Best served with club crackers.
